Research topic: 
“I have always been interested in the combination of biochemistry and analytical chemistry. In my research, I am primarily focused on understanding the metabolism of new phenolic compounds, which protect plants from pathogens and help them adapt to environmental changes.” 

Possible career plans: 
“After my Ph.D., I aim to obtain a post-doctoral position, where I can grow as a scientist. After which I hope to find an industry position working in plant protection or crop improvement.”

Fun fact or two about you: 
“I like reading, especially fantasy and literary fiction. Also, I enjoy dancing to Latin music.”
