Active Shooter/Violence Response

Active Shooter & Violence Response in the Classroom

Tuesday, September 20th, 4:30pm - 6:00pm, 1281 Anthony Hall

It is imperative that teaching assistants and faculty are able to mentally and physically respond if an active violence incident occurs during class instruction. These incidents are unpredictable and evolve quickly - situations are often over within 10 minutes, and before law enforcement arrives on the scene. This workshop will give teaching assistants and faculty direction on how to react in an active violence incident in order to increase the chance of survival for students, teaching assistants and faculty.
Registration is required. Click here to register or visit grad.msu.edu and click Workshops/Events under Professional Development.
