USDA National Needs Fellows with Senator Debbie Stabenow.

Three MSU graduate students and USDA National Needs Fellows (Katerina Lay,  - Takahashi lab, Amanda Koenig – Hoffmann-Benning lab, and  Ryan Corbett  – Ernst lab) spent the month of June in Washington, DC, interning with funding agencies, NGOs, and senators. The three Genetics students are part of the USDA- NIFA National Need training grant “Cross-disciplinary training to improve food security in a changing environment - integrating genetics, computational analysis, and policy considerations.
