Professional interests and goals:  My research interest is to elucidate the biological significance of a "network" in living organisms. Such biological networks include any type of constituents from proteins, nucleic acids and small molecules to cells, microorganisms and multicellular organisms. A connection among constituents bears information; the flow of information in the network brings how living organisms are alive. Thus, I am technically working on the interdisciplinary field between biology and informatics. Currently, I focus on a gene regulatory network and gene expression variations in plants.

General Interests:  I love cats!
