Professional interests and goals:  My research interest is in protein biochemistry and understanding roles of various macromolecular interactions in regulation of complex biological processes. My PhD research extensively focused on analytical characterization of human and bacterial protein complexes involved in pathogenesis of lyme disease. As a postdoc in the Grotewold lab, my research is focused on structural and biophysical characterization of transcription factors in Arabidopisis and maize that are integral part of the flavonoid biosynthesis. My research contributes to a part of our bigger project that focuses on deciphering molecular level understanding of the combinatorial control of flavonoid biosynthesis by R2R3-MYB and bHLH transcription factors.

General interests:  photography, camping, tennis
