July 2024: High school and undergraduate summer students (Cameron, Micah, and Pierra) got to showcased their research posters at the 12th annual Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (Mid-SURE). Very proud of their accomplishments and grateful for support from the rest of the lab!

June 2024: Out for some MSU ice cream with lab + David Arnosti to celebrate 1) our summer students, 2) lab meeting's end, 3) new grants and grant submissions, and 4) talk invitations!

April 2024: Near end-of-year lunch out with the Horibata lab.

January 2024: Dr. Sohini Basu joins us as a Research Associate, from the University of Calcutta. Welcome!

May 2023:

November 2022: Two fantastic news this month: (1) senior MSU undergraduate Matthew Faber became a recipient of the prestigious 'Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award in BMB' award, and (2) Mamta Nirmal's Commentary article was accepted in the journal of Clinical and Translational Discovery.

August 2022: We welcome Mamta Nirmal onboard as a Visiting Scholar in our lab!

February 2022: The lab's gearing up for research!

January - March 2022: We welcomed 3 new undergraduate students + 1 graduate rotation student. We're growing!

January 16, 2022: Finally got our lab's first paper published online at the International Journal of Molecular Sciences.

October 1, 2021: Move-in day of the first two Vo lab members, Dr. Tommy Vo and Matthew Faber!
