Rest with Music: Ellis & M.E
Music can heal, calm, and change our mood. It can regenerate our body, mind, and spirit. Health Promotion and Engagement invites you to take an hour out of your month to listen and Rest with Music. There will be live musical performances featuring a variety of musical styles and genres. These events are free, require no registration, and take place at Abrams Planetarium from 12:10 - 12:50 pm.

In this workshop, you will reflect on your identity and positionality and the role of creating an environment where all feel like they belong in your teaching, research, service, and community efforts. Get Stuff Done with GROW
Are you having a hard time getting things off your to do list? Would you benefit from a dedicated space and being around others to find motivation and productivity? If so, please join us in a structured community space for supporting goal achievement. We will start at 1 p.m. with a brief time of connecting and sharing goals. We will then have two sessions of about 50 minutes where everyone will work on their individual goals with a 10-minute break in between. You can come for one or both sessions or just stop in at any point. Learn more here.
AGEP Learning Community Meeting
The MSU AGEP Learning Community is an informal environment where students from varying disciplines can gather, share their research in a 10-minute presentation, or discover that their graduate toils are not unusual. Whether you are working on the competencies for your Certification in College Teaching, your Diversity Statement, or your Teaching Philosophy Statement, join us for an in-person writing session. Please come to this working and scaffolding session prepared with questions, identify your needs so you can set goals to complete your work or make progress on your ongoing documents (e.g., teaching philosophy), and provide resources and feedback. Join the MSU Student Food Bank Volunteer Team This Summer!

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? The MSU Student Food Bank is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our mission of fighting food insecurity on campus. Volunteering at the MSU Student Food Bank (SFB) is a great opportunity to help build a community where everyone has access to nutritious food, essential items, and the chance to lead a healthy, dignified life. The MSU Student Food Bank is currently looking for volunteers for morning (8 a.m. – 12 p.m.) or afternoon (12 – 5 p.m.) shifts at least one day per week, Monday through Friday, this summer. New and returning volunteers can take one of two trainings, one in-person on May 14 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. and the other virtually on May 19 from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Learn more here.
The MSU Student Food Bank is working towards supporting different basic needs and snack pantries across campus, and is looking for departments and individuals to fill out a survey with information about the resources that already exist. Follow this link to take the survey.
