Undergraduate Club

The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Club is a student run organization dedicated to advancing the interests of BMB undergraduates. Club activities are organized to encourage students in research, academics, internship opportunities, graduate school applications, career opportunities and fun. Biochemistry club events are open to all interested undergraduates, not just BMB majors.

CLUB MEETINGS FOR SPRING 2025

The Biochemistry Club Meets on Thursdays at 7pm in room 1400 of the BPS Building. There is no official joining process for Biochemistry Club and all are welcome. If you want to participate just show up! If you want to get on their email list send an email to their advisor Dr. Weise: weisesea@msu.edu

1/16: Welcome back meeting/glassware painting
1/30: Industry speaker
2/6 or 2/20: Collaborative meeting with WOC STEM (social meeting)
2/26: Glencairn Science Night, measuring pH with cabbage juice
2/27: Faculty dinner/game
3/13-3/17: IASO Therapeutics lab tour
3/27: How to prepare and present research (can be marketed as UURAF prep)
4/5 and 4/6: Present at the MSU Science Festival. Measuring protein
4/10: Grad school panel/social
4/17: BMB officer elections
Sometime during the week of 4/20: Paint the rock (depending on weather)
