Dr. Richard Halberg
Dr. Richard Halberg is a Professor at the University of Wisconsin in the Departments of Medicine and Oncology, and he is the Faculty Director of the Biomedical Research Model Services in the School of Medicine and Public Health at UW. He received his Ph.D. with Dr. Lee Kroos in 1993 working on spore formation and germination in Bacillus subtilis. His research group has significantly advanced our understanding of tumor origin and evolution, with important implications for the development of personalized screening guidelines and treatment strategies.
