Research: Project 3

Scanning electron micrographs show early aggregation at 6 h after the onset of starvation, mound formation by 12 h, a nascent fruiting body at 24 h, and inside a mature fruiting body at 72 h. Micrographs are from Kuner and Kaiser 1982 J. Bacteriol. 151:458-461.
