Annual NSF-NRT-IMPACTS Symposium
We'd like to invite you to join us for the annual NSF-NRT-IMPACTS Symposium, on April 11-12, 2022. This year's symposium topic is "Applications of Machine Learning in Plant Science".
We're having a hybrid symposium, so you have the option to join us in person or online. We have several events planned, including networking and professional development events. Here's a quick outline:
- Research talks from experts in industry and academia
- Roundtable discussion with our featured speakers - We are currently looking for volunteers to help moderate (Contact Christina Chiu for more info:chiuchri@msu.edu)
- Networking opportunities with our featured speakers - We have several opportunities for you to get meals with our speakers. There will be a networking breakfast that is open to all registrants on April 11th, as well as lunch on April 11th and 12th, just make sure to register!
- Graduate student lightning talk competition - It doesn't have to be about machine learning, we just want to hear about your research!
- Machine Learning Workshop - hosted by Dr. Shin-Han Shiu
- Research Speed Dating - an opportunity to get to meet your fellow researchers! For a detailed schedule and to register for the symposium and related events, follow the link! https://forms.gle/YpjoUFXGsHtBd19H8 Registration closes April 1.
For any questions, please contact Robert Shrote (shrotero@msu.edu) or Thilani Jayakody (jayakod1@msu.edu).
