Dr. Raymond J. MacDonald

Dr. Raymond J. MacDonald is Emeritus Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from our department in 1974 under the guidance of Dr. Robert Ronzio. A notable early achievement was his assembly of disparate cloning strategies into a comprehensive, step-by-step protocol that was published (1979) in Methods in Enzymology. His research focused on transcriptional control of organogenesis in the pancreas.
